Dermal fillers are injections that plump up wrinkles and smooth lines on your face. They are made of HA also known as hyaluronic acid and can be used for a wide range of purposes such as rejuvenating the skin, replacing volume loss, restoring loss of fat pads and plumping lips.
As you age, your body starts to lose collagen. Collagen is an important substance that keeps the skin looking younger and rejuvenised. Decreased amounts of collagen in your skin causes skin laxity and loss of volume. Skin becomes thinner, loses its elasticity and starts to sag.

Dermal Filler Dissolving
Hyaluronidase is a filler dissolver that works to break down and remove hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. They are often used to improve the shape and volume of different areas around the body and face, such as the cheeks, lips and chin. The enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid and allows your practitioner to reverse the effects of dermal filler. Dermal filler is dissolved for many reasons, you may not be happy with the way your filler looks due to lumps, overfilling or migration.
Hyaluronidase requires a patch test on the day of the treatment as not everyone is suitable for the treatment.

Once the dermal filler has been dissolved it can be readministered after a 4- 6-week period.

Swelling and bruising can last anywhere up to 2-5 days and will take 14 days for complete healing.

Alluzience
